Creating a branding and website project for yourself if often the most difficult task! Over the last 4 years, my photography work has grown and I felt as though it needed to exist on its own. While still being part of the Oh Gosh offering, the work needed to breathe within its own website, allowing me to showcase even more of my work.
Logo design I wanted to be a reflection of my aesthetic; clean, simple and friendly. I decided to use my own initials, inspired by print off-set layers and a peach tone that reflects my personality.
The website’s main goal is to showcase the work. There are no portfolio items to click into, instead, it’s image-rich and lets the work speak for itself. Included in the layout are FAQ’s, pricing, about me and contact pages. I wanted to keep the site easy to navigate.
Connection to my audience via social media is important to me. I have set up separate social accounts, and designed branding templates for testimonials and inspirational quotes to sit between and ‘break-up’ the work.
