Golden Days Photography was an exciting project to work on; a total branding package consisting of identity design, printing material and a website to showcase their photography.
Sophisticated and clean was the main objective within this brief. The design needed to appeal to a wide variety of people without being too targeted, while it needed to exist on it’s own, it had to interact well with the photography itself and not detract from the star of the show; my clients work. Incorporating the business tag-line of ‘Live, Life, Love’ in a softer, more feminine custom typeface to compliment the main logo. A lock up element was also designed with a hand rendered circle illustration that can exist either on it’s own or together with the larger logo.
With being a developing business, business cards were crucial for my client. They needed to feel luxe and polished and work as a portable portfolio piece. A raised gold foil was used to accent elements of the logo, while the revers of the cards showcases their photography work accompanied by the gold website and lock up.
Gift certificates were another important element for my client, these needed to champion her work while she wasn’t there. They had to convey her relaxed and approachable photography style to a future client who may or may not have seen her work.
A most important business tool, the website. Designed to really showcase the photography work, it’s image rich with large scale images, simple pages, easy to digest copy and a simple side-bar navigation.
